What a night!

I remember when I used to actually get to sleep….it was nice!  I miss my pillow (insert sad face right here).

10:00 pm Mommy goes to sleep.

11:51 pm Baby wakes up, wants bottle. Feed baby, Mommy and baby back to sleep by 12:15am.

12:55am Three year old wakes up, foot is hurting. Wants Mommy to sing to him so he will fall asleep. Mommy and Evan asleep by 1:30am.

2:10am Baby wakes up…oh joy she’s pooped. Clean the tush, cuddles and back to sleep by 2:45am.

3:10am (yes she’s only been out for 20 minutes) Baby starts fussing. Ask Daddy to please check on her to see if she is okay because if I have to get up one more time I might lose my mind.  Daddy says sure.  Mommy rolls over falls back to sleep.

3:20am (baby is now screaming) Look over, Daddy never checked baby, fell asleep I guess and is now so asleep he won’t wake up. Lucky for me I was still able to hear the baby crying over his snoring!  Get up, pick up baby, baby farts, crying stops, baby falls back asleep. Just as Mommy goes to lay her down she spits up.  Spit up goes right down Mommy’s tank top. Lay baby down, forget that baby just spit up all over her…oh well.  Mommy falls asleep as she thinks to herself “why the hell am I even trying to sleep?  I could get up and mop the floor or…………..”  (Mommy falls back to sleep)

3:55am Three year old awakes again and wants to know if he can go to Grandma and Papa’s to play  RIGHT NOW! Ya right let me give them a call right now!

4:25am  Baby wakes up and is so hungry she starts sucking the flesh off my arm.  Go to kitchen make bottle.  Go to shake bottle to mix up formula and….well let’s just say it is always a good idea to put the lid on a bottle before you go to shake it and not just leave it laying on the counter.  Feed baby, baby falls asleep.  Mommy lays down and hears dogs in kitchen lapping up spilt formula.  Oh well, that’s what dogs are for right?

5:15 am Baby starts crying.  Beg husband to get up with her because at this point coffee is not even going to get me to wake up.  He gets up with her, puts her back to sleep and back in her bed (which is in our room).

6:00am Boys hear Daddy up and decide to wake up.  Lucky him!

6:45am Baby cries, mommy wakes up, gets up.  Finds TV on no one in living room…..seriously what the heck is going on around here?  Music coming from garage, lucky husband he got so much sleep that he actually feels motivated to be working out at 6:45am????

7:00am  Kids have figured out that Mommy is awake.  Lucky me…..
